Gunnar’s Bourbon is a locally owned and operated distillery in the heart of the Wheat State. They currently serve Kansas, Florida, and Oklahoma with future goals to expand nationwide to share their wheater with other bourbon enthusiasts.

Case

Being new to the bourbon industry, Gunnar’s Bourbon wanted to establish a brand within their new markets through effective brand strategy, brand identity, videography and photography, social media awareness, and paid advertising.

Execution

Taking note of well-known bourbon brands that are tailored to the blue-collared workers and mixing it with the Southern comfort was a jumping off point with Gunnar’s. Mixing it with the vision of vintage ads from the 1970s and on was influential in creating a brand that appealed to earnest workers who lived and valued a simplistic lifestyle. We used illustrations, designs, and produced visuals that mixed those styles to capture the American dream that most of their customers would relate to.
